Dig my hands into the earth
Sometimes I need You so bad, it hurts
I want You now more than ever
I've been living in a foreign land
Confession of a broken man
I want You now more than ever
The more I see, the more I want
The more I know, it doesn't stop
Your beauty speaks to call me home
Now more than ever
The more I feel that You are here
The more the world disappears
And all I want is to be home
Now more than ever
So tell me something that I haven't heard
I'll be hanging on every word
I want You now more than ever
How long must You make me wait?
Give me hope, give me strength
I want You now more than ever
I will keep my eyes open
Keep my eyes open, face to the sky
I will keep my eyes open
Keep my eyes open for You
Sometimes I need You so bad, it hurts
I want You now more than ever
I've been living in a foreign land
Confession of a broken man
I want You now more than ever
The more I see, the more I want
The more I know, it doesn't stop
Your beauty speaks to call me home
Now more than ever
The more I feel that You are here
The more the world disappears
And all I want is to be home
Now more than ever
So tell me something that I haven't heard
I'll be hanging on every word
I want You now more than ever
How long must You make me wait?
Give me hope, give me strength
I want You now more than ever
I will keep my eyes open
Keep my eyes open, face to the sky
I will keep my eyes open
Keep my eyes open for You
So random story about Brandon Heath... besides the fact that his new album sounds pretty amazing! About a month before my twenty-first birthday I was in Nashville helping out with flood relief after they had torrential rain for almost a week. All the volunteers were meeting at a church to get organized and I heard them mention something about Brandon Heath being there. The next thing I know, I look over to my friend Will and who is he talking to but none other than Brandon Heath. So I walk up to them and ask if I can take their picture as Will gives me this weird look. He then tells me I can have a picture too, if I put on the goggles and earplugs that I am wearing a-top my head. Later I told Will why I took his picture and now it's one of our funny stories.
So anyways, today's been chill. Work this morning wasn't exactly what I expected, but I'm alive. I spent the afternoon on the couch eating, napping, and playing on pinterest. All in all it was a peaceful day I enjoyed. This year I'm soaking up the moments that are simple. Like today.
